Cytochrome b5 Antibody (36) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects cytochrome b5 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-cytochrome b5 antibody (36) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cytochrome b5 is a crucial membrane-bound heme protein that plays a significant role as an electron carrier for various membrane-bound oxygenases, facilitating essential biochemical reactions. Cytochrome b5 includes two heme groups that are not covalently attached, allowing for flexibility in electron transfer.
