    SEE ALSO...

CYP2C18 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 466-485 of CYP2C18 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CYP2C18 monoclonal antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. CYP2C18 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily, which plays a crucial role in the metabolism of various endogenous and exogenous compounds, including drugs and toxins. CYP2C18 is primarily located in the liver, where CYP2C18 facilitates the oxidative metabolism of fatty acids and steroid hormones, making CYP2C18 essential for maintaining metabolic homeostasis and drug clearance. Proper functioning of CYP2C18 is vital, as alterations in CYP2C18 activity can lead to significant pharmacokinetic variations among individuals, impacting drug efficacy and safety. Additionally, CYP2C18 is involved in the metabolism of certain therapeutic agents, and understanding CYP2C18 function can aid in personalized medicine approaches. With robust reactivity and multiple applications, anti-CYP2C18 antibody (A-8) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying drug metabolism and the physiological roles of cytochrome P450 enzymes.
