CUL-3 Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CUL-3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CUL-3 (G-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CUL-3 plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, specifically in the selective degradation of target proteins, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating various biological processes, including cell cycle progression and signal transduction. CUL-3 functions as a component of the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, facilitating the ubiquitination of specific substrates, thereby influencing their stability and activity. Notably, CUL-3 is involved in the degradation of cyclin E, a key regulator of the cell cycle, independent of the SCF complex, highlighting a unique role in cellular regulation. CUL-3′s ability to modulate protein levels is essential for processes such as differentiation, development, and response to stress, making CUL-3 a significant target for research in cancer and other diseases where protein homeostasis is disrupted.
