CSN7a Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CSN7a of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CSN7a antibody (D-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CSN7a is a crucial component of the COP9 signalosome (CSN) complex, which plays a significant role in regulating the ubiquitin conjugation pathway. This regulation is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and controlling various developmental processes, as the CSN complex mediates the deneddylation of SCF-type E3 ligase complexes, thereby reducing ubiquitin ligase activity. CSN7a is involved in the phosphorylation of key proteins such as p53, c-Jun, IκBα, and IRF-8, which are essential for cellular responses to stress and regulation of the cell cycle. The structure of CSN7a includes a PCI (Proteasome CSN9 initiation factor 3) region and a coiled-coil region, which are important for interactions with other components of the CSN complex, including CSN2, CSN3, CSN4, CSN5, CSN6, CSN8, and GPS1. Understanding the function and interactions of CSN7a is critical for elucidating its role in cellular signaling pathways and potential implications in various diseases.
