CSN3 Antibody (RR12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CSN3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CSN3 antibody (RR12) is available as the non-conjugated form. CSN3, also known as COPS3, is a crucial component of the COP9 signalosome (CSN) complex, which plays a significant role in regulating various developmental and cellular processes. The CSN complex consists of several proteins, including CSN1 (COPS1), CSN2 (COPS2), CSN3 (COPS3), CSN4 (COPS4), CSN5 (COPS5), CSN6 (COP6), CSN7a (COPS7, COPS7a) or CSN7b (COP7b), and CSN8 (COP8). CSN3 functions in the deneddylation of SCF-type E3 ligase complexes, which is essential for modulating the ubiquitin conjugation pathway. This regulation influences the degradation of various proteins, including critical regulators of cell cycle and apoptosis. CSN3 is also involved in the phosphorylation of important proteins such as p53, c-Jun, IκBα, and IRF-8, which participate in cellular stress responses and immune regulation. CSN3′s ability to modulate these pathways highlights its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental signals, making CSN3 a valuable target for research in cancer and developmental biology.

I am using CSN3 (RR12): sc-100693 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
