Datasheets
  • Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ Crk I/II antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 109-132 within an internal region of Crk I of human origin
  • recommended for detection of Crk I and Crk II of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and porcine
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG1 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

Crk I/II Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Crk I/II protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Crk I/II antibody (D-6) is available as a non-conjugated format. The Crk family of adapter proteins, including Crk-I, Crk-II, and Crk-L, features SH2 and SH3 domains crucial for cellular signaling. These domains facilitate interactions with phosphotyrosine residues and proline-rich motifs, participating in various signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, differentiation, and survival. Crk I and Crk II are products of the same gene through alternative splicing, sharing structural similarities while exhibiting distinct biological functions - Crk-I shows higher transforming activity compared to Crk-II. Crk-II rapidly phosphorylates in response to insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I), suggesting involvement in IGF-I receptor signaling pathway, critical for cellular responses to growth factors. Crk I and II genes reside on human chromosome 17p13, a region frequently showing deletions and loss of heterozygosity in various cancers, highlighting their potential significance in tumorigenesis and cancer progression.
