    SEE ALSO...

CRIP2 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CRIP2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRIP2 Antibody (C-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cysteine-rich protein 2 (CRIP2) is a 208 amino acid protein characterized by two LIM zinc-binding domains that are linked to short glycine-rich repeats, as well as a potential nuclear localization signal, which is crucial for cellular processes. The presence of these LIM domains allows CRIP2 to interact with other proteins, facilitating the assembly of multiprotein complexes that play significant roles in cytoskeletal remodeling in the cytoplasm and promoting smooth muscle differentiation in the nucleus. The widespread expression of CRIP2 across various tissues, particularly in the heart, underscores its importance in cardiovascular health and development. The human CRIP2 gene is located on chromosome 14q32.33, highlighting its genetic significance in relation to various physiological and pathological conditions.
