CREB3L2 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CREB3L2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CREB3L2 Antibody (C-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CREB3L2, also known as cAMP responsive element binding protein 3-like 2 or BBF2H7, is a 520 amino acid single-pass type II membrane protein primarily localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. This localization enables CREB3L2 to play a significant role in the cellular response to endoplasmic reticulum stress by activating transcription of unfolded protein response target genes. As a transcriptional activator that binds DNA as a dimer, CREB3L2 helps prevent unfolded protein accumulation, which is particularly important for neuronal maintenance and function. Chromosomal rearrangements involving CREB3L2 have been linked to low-grade fibromyxoid sarcomas, highlighting CREB3L2′s relevance in cancer biology. Multiple isoforms of CREB3L2 arise from alternative splicing, contributing to diverse functional roles in various tissues, including lung, spleen, placenta, and intestine.
