SEE ALSO...

CPSF7 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CPSF7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CPSF7 (A-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CPSF7 protein, also known as cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 7, plays a crucial role in the processing of 3′ ends of eukaryotic mRNAs, which is essential for mRNA stability and translation efficiency. CPSF7 is involved in the endonucleolytic cleavage and subsequent polyadenylation of pre-mRNA, a process vital for mRNA maturation and gene expression regulation. CPSF7 is a 471 amino acid nuclear protein that belongs to the RNA recognition motif CPSF6/7 family and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 11q12.2, a region associated with several genetic disorders. Alternative splicing events result in two isoforms of CPSF7, which may have distinct functional roles in mRNA processing. Understanding CPSF7 function and interactions is important for elucidating gene regulation mechanisms and potential implications in various diseases linked to mRNA processing defects.

Are there any issues with using sc-393880: CPSF7 (A-9) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-393880 conjugates.
