CPSF4 Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CPSF4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CPSF4 (A-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CPSF4 protein, also known as cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor subunit 4 or NS1 effector domain-binding protein 1, is a crucial nuclear protein that is part of the CPSF4/YTH1 family and features five C3H1-type zinc fingers along with one CCHC-type zinc finger. CPSF4 plays an essential role in the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex, which is vital for the proper processing of pre-mRNA 3′-ends. CPSF is a multisubunit complex that recognizes the AAUAAA signal in pre-mRNA, facilitating RNA cleavage and poly(A) synthesis through interactions with other proteins. CPSF4 interacts with the snRNP-A protein (U1 snRNP-A), which enhances the stability of CPSF′s interaction with AAUAAA-containing RNAs, thereby increasing the efficiency of polyadenylation. The precise processing of the 3′ core poly(A) site is also dependent on specific sequences located 76 nucleotides upstream of the AAUAAA hexamer, underscoring the importance of CPSF4 in gene expression regulation and mRNA stability.

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems.
