CPSF3 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CPSF3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CPSF3 Antibody (C-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CPSF3 protein plays a crucial role in the processing of the 3′ ends of eukaryotic mRNAs, which is essential for the stability and translation of mRNA. Specifically, CPSF3 is a key component of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex, which is responsible for recognizing the AAUAAA signal in pre-mRNA and facilitating the endonucleolytic cleavage and subsequent polyadenylation of the transcript. This process is vital for the maturation of mRNA, as CPSF3 influences mRNA stability, transport, and translation efficiency. The human CPSF3 gene is located on chromosome 2p25.1 and encodes the second shortest subunit of the CPSF complex. Notably, U1 snRNP-A protein (U1A) interacts with CPSF3, enhancing CPSF3 activity by stabilizing the binding of CPSF to AAUAAA-containing RNAs, thereby increasing the efficiency of polyadenylation. This interaction underscores the importance of CPSF3 in gene expression regulation and mRNA processing, making anti-CPSF3 antibody (C-3) an invaluable tool for researchers studying RNA biology and related pathways.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from worked for ChIP but low enrichment over backgroundI got a sample of this antibody to try ChIP with. My ChIP reactions worked, but the enrichment over background wasn't huge, so it certainly wasn't the best antibody for ChIP that I've used (but the only one I've used for this specific protein).
