COMT Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects COMT protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-COMT antibody (G-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) is essential for regulating central dopaminergic systems, as COMT catalyzes the inactivation of catecholamines, which are critical neurotransmitters involved in mood regulation, cognition, and stress response.
