COL1A2 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 lambda light chain antibody designed to recognize Collagen α2 Type I, also known as COL1A2 or Collagen type I alpha2 chain. COL1A2 monoclonal antibody (E-6) targets a precise epitope mapping between amino acids 1064-1093 at the C-terminus of the COL1A2 protein, ensuring robust and reliable detection across various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Collagen α2 Type I is a crucial component of the extracellular matrix, playing a vital role in maintaining the structural integrity and tensile strength of connective tissues such as tendons, skin, bone, and cartilage.
