SEE ALSO...

CNPase Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects 2′,3′-cyclic nucleotide-3′-phosphodiesterase (CNPase) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CNPase is a crucial membrane-bound enzyme that plays a significant role in linking tubulin to membranes and regulating the distribution of cytoplasmic microtubules, which is vital for maintaining cellular structure and function. CNPase acts as a microtubule-associated protein, promoting microtubule assembly, particularly through its C-terminal region. CNPase is predominantly found in the central nervous system, where CNPase is highly concentrated in myelin, as well as in the outer segments of photoreceptors in the retina, highlighting CNPase′s importance in neuronal health and visual function. Notably, disturbances in CNPase activity, such as those caused by acute lead intoxication, can lead to significant alterations in myelin morphology, underscoring CNPase′s critical role in neuroprotection and myelination. Anti-CNPase antibody (B-1) is an essential tool for researchers studying the dynamics of microtubule organization and the implications of CNPase in various neurological conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked beautifullyThis antibody worked beautifully in canine brain tissue. It worked with proteinase k and HIER citrate buffer, but I the proteinase K was slightly cleaner.
