    SEE ALSO...

CLEC-2L Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CLEC-2L protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CLEC-2L (D-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CLEC-2L protein, a member of the C-type lectin domain family 2, plays a crucial role in immune responses and cell signaling due to binding specific carbohydrate structures on cell surfaces, essential for mediating interactions between immune cells and pathogens. This single-pass membrane protein, consisting of 214 amino acids, contains one C-type lectin domain and resides primarily on immune cell surfaces, where CLEC-2L participates in glycoprotein recognition and contributes to immune response regulation. CLEC-2L gene is located on human chromosome 7, a region associated with various genetic disorders, highlighting CLEC-2L′s importance in both health and disease. Understanding CLEC-2L function and interactions can provide insights into immune system regulation and potential therapeutic applications.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390424 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
