Cdk6 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdk6 of mouse, rat, and human origin through various applications including western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Cdk6 (B-10) antibody is offered in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cdk6 plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly during the G1/S transition, by partnering with cyclins D1, D2, and D3 to phosphorylate target substrates essential for cell cycle progression. This phosphorylation facilitates the transition from the G1 phase to the S phase, allowing for DNA replication and cell division. Cdk6 is regulated by cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, such as p18 and p19, which bind to both free and cyclin-bound forms, thereby modulating activity and ensuring proper cell cycle control.
