CdcA4 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CdcA4 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CdcA4 antibody (E-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CdcA4, also known as hematopoietic progenitor protein, is a 241 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one SERTA domain and is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors. CdcA4 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where CdcA4 plays a crucial role in the E2F/retinoblastoma pathway, regulating E2F-dependent transcriptional activation and cell proliferation. CdcA4 is involved in spindle pole organization, acting as a midzone factor that is essential for cytokinesis and proper chromosome segregation during cell division. CdcA4 has been implicated in the regulation of the JUN oncogene, highlighting CdcA4′s potential role in cellular transformation processes that can lead to tumorigenesis. Multiple isoforms of CdcA4, resulting from alternative splicing, add another layer of complexity to CdcA4′s function and regulation, making CdcA4 (E-6) monoclonal antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying cell cycle dynamics and cancer biology.
