CdcA4 Antibody (1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CdcA4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CdcA4 antibody (1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CdcA4, also known as Hematopoietic progenitor protein, is a 241 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one SERTA domain and is a member of the E2F family of transcription factors. Nuclear localization of CdcA4 is crucial as CdcA4 plays a significant role in the E2F/retinoblastoma pathway, which is essential for regulating E2F-dependent transcriptional activation and cell proliferation. Furthermore, CdcA4 is implicated in spindle pole organization, acting as a midzone factor that is vital for cytokinesis and chromosome segregation. CdcA4′s ability to regulate JUN oncogene expression highlights potential involvement in cellular transformation processes that can lead to tumorigenesis. Notably, multiple isoforms of CdcA4 arise from alternative splicing, which may contribute to diverse functional roles in cellular processes.
