    SEE ALSO...

Cdc123 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdc123 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Cdc123 antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cdc123, also known as cell division cycle protein 123 or D123, is a crucial 336 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a significant role in regulating the cell cycle. Cdc123 is widely expressed in tissues such as thymus, spleen, ovary, testis, small intestine, and leukocytes, highlighting its importance in cellular functions. Cdc123 is essential for preventing accumulation of checkpoint with forkhead and ring finger domain (Chfr) proteins, which can inhibit transition from G1 to S phase of the cell cycle. By destabilizing Chfr proteins, Cdc123 facilitates progression of cells into S phase, thereby promoting proper cell division and growth. Given its pivotal role in cell cycle regulation, Cdc123 is considered a potential basal marker for luminal breast cancers, making Cdc123 (A-2) monoclonal antibody a valuable tool for researchers studying cancer biology and cell cycle dynamics.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390989 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
