SEE ALSO...

CD81 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody specifically designed to detect CD81, also known as TAPA-1. CD81 monoclonal antibody (B-11) is raised against amino acids 90-210 of human CD81 and is reactive with CD81 from mouse, rat, and human species, making it suitable for various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD81 is a type III transmembrane protein characterized by four transmembrane domains, which facilitate integration into the cell membrane and enable participation in essential cellular processes. The structural configuration of CD81 allows formation of multimolecular complexes with other proteins such as CD37 and CD53, as well as interaction with CD19, CD21, and MHC class II antigens on B cells, thereby playing a crucial role in cell signaling and immune response regulation. This structural versatility is vital for functions in cell growth, differentiation, and communication, making CD81 a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis and effective immune function. Widely expressed on cells of hematopoietic, neuroectodermal, and mesenchymal origin, CD81′s structural properties enable influence over diverse biological systems and processes. Anti-CD81 antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and fluorescent labels, providing researchers with flexibility for different experimental needs.

What westernblot protocol should I use? reducing or non-reducing? I cannot find the information on the sample data sheet. I tried the reducing protocol and get nice single band, but the size is smaller than 20kDa. Thank you
