CD69 Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects CD69 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD69 is a crucial activation marker expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer known as the activation inducer molecule (AIM), which consists of two differentially glycosylated forms of a single protein. CD69 (A-5) antibody plays a significant role in studying immune response, as CD69 is one of the earliest antigens to appear following the activation of T cells, B cells, and natural killer (NK) cells. Notably, CD69 is constitutively expressed on platelets, CD4+ or CD8+ thymocytes, and germinal center T cells, while remaining absent from resting lymphocytes, highlighting CD69′s importance in distinguishing between activated and resting immune cells. CD69 (A-5) monoclonal antibody serves as a critical tool for researchers studying immune responses and related pathways by detecting CD69 expression on activated lymphocytes.
