SEE ALSO...

CD59 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CD59 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD59 (H-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD59 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein predominantly expressed on leukocytes, vascular endothelial cells, various epithelial cells, and the placenta. CD59 functions to regulate the complement system, specifically by inhibiting the formation of the membrane attack complex (MAC), which is crucial for protecting host cells from lysis by complement proteins. CD59 achieves this by binding to the C8 and C9 components of the MAC, effectively preventing the lytic pore formation that could lead to cell damage. CD59 plays a role in T cell adhesion and activation, working alongside CD58, and may serve as a second ligand for CD2. The presence of two p53-responsive domains in the CD59 gene suggests a potential mechanism for protecting host cells from complement-mediated damage during inflammation, indicating that p53 could influence the susceptibility of tumor cells to complement lysis during chemotherapy. This multifaceted role of CD59 underscores its importance in immune regulation and potential therapeutic applications.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CD59抗体无非特异性吸附该抗体是我一个月前购买的,是由我上次购买的CD9抗体抵扣的,由于CD9抗体存在非特异性吸附,给商家反应后,态度很好。填写单子后,很快就给我解决问题了。而这次的CD59抗体没有非特异性吸附。很满意!
