CD40 Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CD40 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CD40 antibody (H-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CD40 plays a crucial role in the immune response, primarily functioning as a co-stimulatory signal that is essential for B cell activation and differentiation. CD40 is located on the surface of B cells and interacts with CD40 ligand (CD40L) expressed on activated T cells, facilitating the communication necessary for B cell proliferation and immunoglobulin class switching.
