SEE ALSO...

CD154 Antibody (TRAP1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD154 in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD154, also known as CD40 ligand, plays a crucial role in the immune response by facilitating communication between T cells and B cells, which is essential for effective antibody production. CD154 is primarily located on the surface of activated T cells, where CD154 interacts with CD40 on B cells, triggering a cascade of signaling events that lead to B cell activation, proliferation, and differentiation into antibody-secreting plasma cells. This interaction not only promotes immunoglobulin class switching but also enhances the overall adaptive immune response. Dysregulation of CD154 expression can lead to various immunological disorders, including hyper-IgM immunodeficiency syndrome type 1, highlighting CD154′s significance in maintaining immune homeostasis. Anti-CD154 antibody (TRAP1) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying T cell and B cell interactions, immune signaling pathways, and the underlying mechanisms of immune-related diseases.

How can CD154 (TRAP-1): sc-19985 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Germaine
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-19985 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-19985 FITC).
