    SEE ALSO...

CCDC18 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CCDC18 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CCDC18 antibody (G-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CCDC18, also known as NY-SAR-41 or dJ717I23.1, is a 1,454 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in forming coiled-coil structures essential for protein-protein interactions. These interactions are vital for various cellular functions, including signal transduction and structural integrity of the cytoskeleton. CCDC18′s ability to form these structures underscores its importance in maintaining cellular architecture and facilitating communication between proteins, which can have significant implications in understanding diseases where these processes are disrupted. Encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1, CCDC18 is expressed as two isoforms and is associated with a range of genetic disorders linked to chromosomal abnormalities. Chromosome 1 is the largest human chromosome and is implicated in various diseases, including certain cancers and genetic syndromes, making CCDC18 study particularly relevant in molecular biology and disease research.
