SEE ALSO...

CCDC101 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CCDC101 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CCDC101 Antibody (D-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CCDC101, also known as SGF29 (SAGA-associated factor 29) or STAF36, is a 293 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation as a subunit of two histone acetyltransferase complexes: the TFTC (TATA-binding protein-free TAF-containing) and STAGA (SPT3-TAF9-GCN5/PCAF acetylase) complexes. CCDC101 modulates gene expression through histone acetylation, a key process in regulating chromatin structure and function, which ultimately influences cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and response to environmental signals. Encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16p11.2, CCDC101 is part of a genomic region associated with various disorders, including giant axonal neuropathy and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, highlighting CCDC101′s potential significance in both normal physiology and disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515286 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
