    CBP Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CBP in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CBP, or CREB-binding protein, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression by acting as a co-activator for numerous transcription factors, particularly those activated by cyclic AMP signaling pathways. Anti-CBP antibody (F-12) recognizes phosphorylated CREB following activation by protein kinase A, underscoring CBP′s importance in mediating cellular responses to hormonal signals. CBP is predominantly located in the nucleus, where CBP facilitates the assembly of transcriptional complexes, thereby influencing the transcription of genes involved in diverse biological processes such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. The structural integrity of CBP is vital, as CBP contains multiple functional domains that allow interaction with various transcription factors and other co-activators, including p300, which shares significant homology with CBP.
