Cathepsin L Antibody (CPLH-3G10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect cathepsin L, also known as CTSL, major excreted protein (MEP), or CATL. Anti-cathepsin L antibody (CPLH-3G10) is raised against procathepsin L and exhibits strong reactivity with both the active enzyme and its precursor forms in human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Cathepsin L is predominantly located within the lysosomes, where it plays a crucial role in the intracellular degradation of proteins, including collagen, elastin, and α-1 protease inhibitor. This localization is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating processes like tissue remodeling and immune responses.
