    SEE ALSO...

CAML Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CAML of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CAML antibody (B-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CAML, or calcium-signal modulating cyclophilin ligand, plays a crucial role in regulating calcium signaling pathways, which are essential for various cellular processes, including T cell activation and cytokine production. By modulating calcium influx, CAML acts as an important activator of the NFAT (nuclear factor of activated T cells) transcription factors, which are pivotal in regulating immune responses. The interaction between CAML and TACI (transmembrane activator and CAML-interactor), a member of the TNF receptor superfamily, further underscores its significance in immune signaling, as TACI can induce NFAT activation in the presence of CAML . CAML serves as a vital component in understanding T cell biology and the mechanisms underlying immune responses, highlighting potential therapeutic interventions in immune-related disorders.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-166557 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
