CALCOCO1 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CALCOCO1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CALCOCO1 antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CALCOCO1, also known as calcium-binding and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1, cocoa, calphoglin, or sarcoma antigen NY-SAR-3, is a 691 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by shuttling between the cytoplasm and nucleus, functioning as a coactivator for aryl hydrocarbon and nuclear receptors. CALCOCO1 is integral to the regulation of the androgen signaling pathway and the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, highlighting its importance in various physiological processes, including development and cellular differentiation. CALCOCO1 forms a calphoglin complex with phosphatase PPA1 and phosphoglucomutase PGM1, which further emphasizes its role in metabolic regulation. Additionally, CALCOCO1 exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms, designated Q9P1Z2-1, 2, and 3, which are encoded by genes located on human chromosome 12q13.13 and mouse chromosome 15 F3, allowing for functional diversity and adaptability in cellular responses.
