This antibody is mouse raised. Then how it is working in mouse system (mentioned in the antibody description)? Please suggest.

Asked by: Jhumi
Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal is fine for use on mouse samples, there is no issues with mouse on mouse antibody use as long as there is sufficient blocking and washing conditions.

I purchased c-Myc(9E10): sc-40 antibody from your company recently. I used for western blotting and could detect signals around 35 Kda in breast cancer cell lines but not at 67 kDa. what could be the reason? is the antibody binding in the right size?

Asked by: Krishna Chauhan
Thank you for your question. Please contact our Technical Service Department for assistance in troubleshooting this antibody.

Can this antibiody works with protein expressed in lung cancer. please show me staining like.

Asked by: terpe
Thank you for your question. This c-Myc antibody, sc-40, will detect c-Myc in your lung cancer samples as long as it is expressed in that sample. We do not have data specifically in lung cancer, so I advice you to look in the primary literature for expression information in your samples.

Can this antibiody works with protein expressed in plants like N. benthamiana and Solanum lycopersicum?

Asked by: anilu
Thank you for your question. This antibody has been published in plant samples (Arabidopsis), so yes, it should be fine for your plant samples (although we have no information regarding the two plants you specifically mention).

Total amount is 1ml, 200 microgram/ml. Is that correct? I wonder why the company show the concentration only.

Asked by: yikai
Thank you for your question. c-Myc Antibody (9E10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 (kappa light chain) provided as 200 µg antibody in 1.0 ml PBS with 0.1 % gelatin and <0.1 % sodium azide. You can find this information and additional data on the antibody in the product datasheet, which is available from the product page right here.
