SEE ALSO...

c-Fgr Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects c-Fgr of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). c-Fgr (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. c-Fgr, a member of the Src family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate essential processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, and motility. c-Fgr is primarily located in the cytoplasm and can translocate to the cell membrane upon activation, which is vital for signal transduction. c-Fgr interaction with various signaling molecules and adaptors at the membrane is essential for the modulation of cellular responses to external stimuli. The human c-Fgr gene encodes a 529 amino acid protein that is structurally characterized by an amino-terminal cell membrane anchor, an SH3 domain, and an SH2 domain, which are critical for regulatory functions. Understanding c-Fgr localization and activation mechanisms is important for elucidating its role in oncogenic processes and potential therapeutic targets in cancer treatment.
