    BRD4 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects BRD4 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BRD4 Antibody (C-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BRD4, a member of the bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) family, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and is primarily located in the nucleus, where BRD4 interacts with acetylated lysines on histones and non-histone proteins. This nuclear localization is vital for BRD4′s function in transcriptional regulation, as BRD4 facilitates the recruitment of transcriptional machinery to specific gene promoters, thereby influencing cell growth and differentiation. BRD4′s ability to bind to mitotic chromosomes underscores BRD4′s importance in cell cycle progression, particularly in preventing the transition from the G1 phase to the S phase by interacting with the largest subunit of replication factor C, which inhibits DNA elongation. Dysregulation of BRD4 has been implicated in various aggressive cancers, highlighting BRD4′s potential as a therapeutic target in oncology.
