BRCAA1 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BRCAA1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BRCAA1 (C-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BRCAA1 , also known as ARID domain-containing protein 4B (ARID4B), Sin3-associated polypeptide p180 (SAP180), or Retinoblastoma-binding protein 1-like 1 (RBBP1L1), plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and maintaining genomic stability, which is vital for preventing tumorigenesis. BRCAA1 is involved in the regulation of genomic imprinting at the Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS)/Angelman syndrome (AS) domain, highlighting BRCAA1′s importance in developmental processes and potential implications in cancer biology. High expression levels of BRCAA1 mRNA have been observed in various human cancers, including breast, lung, colon, pancreatic, and ovarian cancers, as well as in normal testis, suggesting BRCAA1′s potential as a valuable molecular marker for a wide range of malignancies. BRCAA1 interacts with RBBP1/ARID4A, further emphasizing BRCAA1′s role in critical cellular pathways.
