BMP-7 Antibody (6E5D12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BMP-7 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BMP-7 antibody (6E5D12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs), which are part of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGFβ) superfamily, play a crucial role in cartilage and bone formation, making BMPs essential for skeletal development and repair. BMP-7 promotes osteogenesis and chondrogenesis, while BMP-7 signaling pathways maintain bone homeostasis. BMP-7 is primarily located in the extracellular matrix and secreted by various cell types, including osteoblasts and chondrocytes, underscoring BMP-7′s importance in bone and cartilage development regulation.
