Blr1 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Blr1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Blr1 antibody (C-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Burkitt′s lymphoma receptor 1 (Blr1) is a lymphocyte-specific chemokine receptor that plays a crucial role in the immune response by mediating the migration of B cells to specific sites within secondary lymphoid tissues, such as the spleen and Peyer′s patches. Blr1 (C-3) antibody targets proteins primarily located on the surface of B cells, where Blr1 facilitates B cell movement towards areas of high B-lymphocyte chemo-attractant (BLC) expression, particularly in germinal centers where B cells undergo somatic hypermutation and affinity maturation. This localization is vital for effective immune responses, as Blr1 ensures that B cells can efficiently interact with T cells and other immune components to produce high-affinity antibodies. Stimulation of Blr1 by BLC leads to an influx of calcium ions into the cell, promoting chemotaxis and enhancing the overall immune response.
