BLNK Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BLNK of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BLNK Antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. B cell linker protein (BLNK) plays a crucial role in B cell signaling, acting as a central hub for the integration of signals from the B cell receptor (BCR). Upon BCR activation, BLNK associates with key effector proteins such as GRB2, Vav, Nck, and phospholipase C gamma (PLC γ), facilitating downstream signaling pathways essential for B cell proliferation and survival. Two isoforms of BLNK, pp68 and pp70, are generated through alternative splicing of the human BLNK gene transcript, and their phosphorylation by Syk tyrosine kinase is vital for the activation of downstream effectors.
