Bcl10 Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Bcl10 of mouse, rat, and human origin through western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Bcl10 (A-6) antibody is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Bcl10, also known as CIPER, c-CARMEN, and mE10, plays a crucial role in the immune response by regulating the activation of NFκB, a key transcription factor involved in inflammation and cell survival. Bcl10 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where Bcl10 interacts with other signaling molecules to facilitate the transduction of signals that lead to immune cell activation. This localization is vital because Bcl10 participates in the assembly of signaling complexes that are essential for the proper functioning of immune cells. Notably, Bcl10 contains an N-terminal caspase recruitment domain (CARD), which is critical for function in promoting NFκB activation through a NIK-dependent pathway. While Bcl10 has been implicated in apoptosis through CARD-mediated oligomerization, Bcl10 is also involved in the processing of caspase-9 to active dimer form, highlighting a multifaceted role in cell signaling and apoptosis. Research has shown that Bcl10 is not frequently mutated in many human tumors and lymphomas, suggesting that expression and function remain largely intact in these contexts.
