BCAM Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects BCAM protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-BCAM antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. BCAM protein, also known as Lutheran blood group glycoprotein or auberger B antigen, is a crucial cell adhesion molecule that plays a significant role in intracellular signaling and is predominantly expressed in pancreatic tissue. BCAM′s function as a cell adhesion molecule is vital for various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and immune response, as well as cancer metastasis. BCAM regulation is particularly important in embryonic morphogenic development and neuronal synaptic adhesion, which are essential for learning and memory.
