ATP6AP1 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ATP6AP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ATP6AP1 (E-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ATP6AP1, also known as ATPase, H+ transporting, lysosomal accessory protein 1, plays a crucial role in the function of the vacuolar-type H+-ATPase (V-ATPase), a multisubunit enzyme essential for the acidification of eukaryotic intracellular organelles. ATP6AP1 is primarily located in the cytoplasmic region of endocrine and neuronal cells, where ATP6AP1 serves as an accessory protein that targets the V-ATPase enzyme to specialized vacuolar systems. ATP6AP1′s interaction with the V0 domain subunits is vital for the proper assembly and function of the V-ATPase complex, and any disruption in this interaction can lead to impaired bone resorption in osteoclasts, highlighting ATP6AP1′s significant role in maintaining bone health. Anti-ATP6AP1 antibody (E-10) enables researchers to effectively study the dynamics of V-ATPase assembly and its implications in various physiological and pathological processes.
