    SEE ALSO...

ATP10A Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ATP10A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ATP10A (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ATPase class V type 10A (ATP10A), also known as aminophospholipid translocase VA or probable phospholipid-transporting ATPase VA, is a 1,499 amino acid protein that belongs to the cation transport ATPase (P-type) family. ATP10A is primarily localized to the cell membrane and is widely expressed across various tissues, with the highest expression levels found in the kidney, lung, brain, prostate, testis, ovary, and small intestine. ATP10A plays a crucial role in the transport of phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylethanolamine across the lipid bilayer, which is essential for maintaining membrane asymmetry and cellular signaling. ATP10A function is vital, as defects in this gene can lead to Angelman syndrome, a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by severe speech and language limitations, movement or balance disorders, and distinctive behavioral traits. The gene encoding ATP10A is an imprinted gene that is maternally expressed, highlighting its significance in genetic regulation and potential implications in developmental biology.
