ARRDC1 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARRDC1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARRDC1 (E-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. ARRDC1 plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes, particularly in the endocytic pathway, where ARRDC1 is involved in sorting and trafficking membrane proteins. This function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and signaling, as improper trafficking can lead to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. ARRDC1 is part of a larger family of arrestin domain-containing proteins, encoded by genes located on human chromosomes 9, 15, and 19. Chromosome 9, where ARRDC1 gene is situated, is significant not only for its size—comprising 4% of the human genome—but also for its association with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and familial dysautonomia. The intricate interplay of ARRDC1 with other proteins in the endocytic pathway underscores its importance in cellular function and disease mechanisms, making anti-ARRDC1 antibody (E-6) an essential tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
