ARP-1 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ARP-1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARP-1, also known as COUP-TFII, plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in gene expression regulation during development. ARP-1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where ARP-1 functions as a transcription factor, influencing the expression of genes involved in cellular differentiation and development. Nuclear localization of ARP-1 enables interaction with specific DNA response elements, thereby modulating target gene transcription. ARP-1 interacts with other transcription factors, such as retinoic acid receptors and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors, which underscores ARP-1′s importance in coordinating complex gene regulatory networks. ARP-1′s ability to act as both a negative regulator and transcription initiator highlights ARP-1′s versatile role in cellular processes, making ARP-1 a significant focus of research in developmental biology and disease mechanisms.
