ARL8A/B Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ARL8A/B of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARL8A/B (H-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARL8A/B, a member of the ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) family, plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in vesicular trafficking and lysosomal dynamics. ARL8A localizes to the late endosome membrane, where ARL8A is involved in lysosome motility, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress. ARL8A/B interacts with Tubulin, facilitating lysosome transport along microtubules, thereby influencing processes such as nutrient degradation and waste disposal. ARL8B is encoded on human chromosome 3, a region significant for its association with various cancer-related genes, highlighting ARL8A/B′s potential implications in cancer biology and therapeutic strategies.
