ARID1A Antibody (PSG3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARID1A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. ARID1A (PSG3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARID1A protein plays a crucial role in the SWI-SNF chromatin remodeling complex, which is essential for regulating gene expression through nucleosome structure alteration in an ATP-dependent manner. ARID1A′s ability to facilitate transcriptional activation is vital for numerous cellular processes, including differentiation and development, as ARID1A helps control DNA accessibility to transcription factors. The SWI-SNF complex comprises several key subunits, including Brm and Brg-1, which are ATPase components driving remodeling activity, while ARID1A, also known as BAF250A, has regulatory functions within the complex. ARID1A′s interaction with other subunits, such as Ini1, BAF155, and BAF170, enhances the remodeling capabilities of the complex, underscoring ARID1A′s importance in maintaining proper gene expression and cellular function.
