    SEE ALSO...

ARFRP1 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ARFRP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ARFRP1 (A-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) protein family, to which ARFRP1 belongs, consists of structurally and functionally conserved members of the Ras superfamily of regulatory GTP-binding proteins, which are crucial for vesicle trafficking and signal transduction in eukaryotic cells. ARFRP1, also known as ADP-ribosylation factor related protein 1 or ARL18, is a 201 amino acid membrane-associated GTPase that primarily localizes to the plasma membrane and the Golgi apparatus, playing a significant role in maintaining organelle integrity and facilitating the assembly of coat proteins. Notably, ARFRP1 interacts with SYS1, suggesting involvement in plasma membrane-related signaling events. ARFRP1 exists in multiple alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located in a cluster on chromosome 20, which is often overexpressed in tumors, indicating a potential role in carcinogenesis. Understanding ARFRP1 function and interactions is essential for elucidating contributions to cellular processes and implications in cancer biology.
