Annexin VII Antibody (G-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Annexin VII in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Annexin VII, also known as synexin, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by binding to phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner, which is essential for maintaining membrane integrity and facilitating membrane fusion events. Anti-Annexin VII antibody (G-8) recognizes a protein predominantly located at the plasma membrane in normal muscle tissue, where Annexin VII is involved in regulating ion flux and cellular adhesion.
