ANKRD52 Antibody (A-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKRD52 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ANKRD52 antibody (A-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKRD52, also known as PP6-ARS-C, is a 1,076 amino acid phosphoprotein characterized by twenty-eight ankyrin repeats, which are crucial for its role as a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 6 (PP6). This holoenzyme is essential for various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation and DNA damage response, highlighting ANKRD52′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Mutations in ankyrin genes can lead to severe genetic disorders, such as fatal cardiac arrhythmias and hereditary spherocytosis, underscoring ANKRD52′s significance in health and disease. Encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 12q13.2, ANKRD52 is conserved across multiple species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, mice, rats, chickens, and zebrafish, indicating a fundamental biological role.
