SEE ALSO...

ANKRD28/44/52 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ANKRD28/44/52 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ANKRD28/44/52 (G-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ANKRD28, also known as Ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 28, is a crucial nuclear protein composed of 1,086 amino acids and characterized by 27 ankyrin repeats, which are essential for protein-protein interactions. ANKRD28 plays a significant role in cellular signaling and regulation, particularly in cell cycle control and transcriptional regulation. Multiple isoforms of ANKRD28, resulting from alternative splicing, allow for diverse functional roles in various tissues, highlighting ANKRD28′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Ankyrin repeat domains mediate interactions with other proteins, which is vital for assembling multiprotein complexes that regulate critical cellular processes. Mutations in ankyrin genes, including ANKRD28, can lead to severe genetic disorders, underscoring ANKRD28′s importance in health and disease. ANKRD44 and ANKRD52, the other members of this target family, also contribute to protein phosphatase 6 regulatory functions, emphasizing ANKRD28/44/52 complex relevance in cellular signaling pathways.

Are there any issues with using sc-393032: ANKRD28/44/52 (G-6) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-393032 conjugates.
