SEE ALSO...

Amylase Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect amylase proteins across multiple species, including mouse, rat, and human. anti-Amylase antibody (G-10) targets amino acids 212-492 of human Amylase 2B, also known as AMY2B, and effectively recognizes key isoforms such as Amylase 1A (AMY1A) and Amylase 2A (AMY2A). Amylase enzymes play a pivotal role in carbohydrate metabolism by catalyzing the breakdown of starches into simpler sugars, which is essential for proper digestive function and energy production. Understanding the expression and regulation of amylase is crucial for researching digestive disorders, pancreatic health, and certain ovarian tumors, making Amylase (G-10) antibody an invaluable tool in these studies. Amylase (G-10) monoclonal antibody performs reliably in western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated variants, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, anti-Amylase antibody (G-10) accommodates a wide range of experimental workflows. In humans, amylase exists in different haplotypes that influence the number of salivary and pancreatic isoforms, while in mice, distinct expression patterns in the salivary glands and liver highlight its physiological significance. By providing robust detection of amylase isoforms, Amylase (G-10) monoclonal antibody supports researchers in unraveling the complexities of metabolic pathways, enzyme functions, and disease mechanisms related to amylase activity.
